A nonlinear delay integro-differential equation model of the synergistic effect of chemotherapy and immunotherapy

My PhD research focuses on the mathematical modelling of chemo-immunotherapy, with the aim of understanding how treatment scheduling, chemoresistance and tumour–immune interactions shape therapeutic outcomes. I develop and analyse a phenotype-structured model incorporating immune checkpoint inhibitors and biologically relevant time delays.

Development of an agent-based model of tumour–immune interactions under combination therapy, together with the formal derivation of its continuum PDE–ODE counterpart. The project combined numerical simulations, asymptotic analysis and biological interpretation.
